December week 1

What has 21 heads , 42 arms, and sounds like a heard of elephants.  If you said the December makers club then you would be right.  We had so many kids wanting to be in our program we added a second day and still had to many kids.  This month we have had a great turn out.  We had planed on 12 kids and have 20 counting our two 4th grade aides.
Having so many young people has caused us to move more slowly then I expected.  Thankfully we are only 4 pages behind my predicted place.  We are on page 100 of 987 but we had to teach how to use the software and how to find parts in our new parts tool box.  Still we made some great advances this week.

Remember you can see the model in Kindergarten over the kids coats.

We should be done by the last week before Christmas Break but if we fail what we have done will be on display over Christmas in Holly Family Hall and then we will finish it in January.  We have about 300 pieces of the 2700 in place.
What you see here is the front steps and bottom floor/Kitchen/lunch room windows.  We will start on the First Floor and Archway Monday . Most of this is hidden from the front of school by the hill and bushes.

See you soon.
